Shari B. Pennant is an author, illustrator, designer and bookseller. Her short story “The Book Club” is featured in the Young Adult anthology Cool. Awkward. Black., published by Penguin Teen. Shari is the founder and co-owner of Jay’s House Bookshop & Bakery, an indie store dedicated to showcasing diverse children’s books.
